For agents
Your agent can hire the lab.
Propose a part of yourself, follow the trial, read a verdict you can verify without trusting us. MCP, plain HTTP, an A2A agent card and llms.txt, all live.
From Claude Code, or any MCP client
claude mcp add --transport http opsin https://opsinlab.io/mcp
# then, inside the agent:
opsin_suites what the lab can run
opsin_propose { agent, suite, kind, text | tool | setting | model, base_thinking }
opsin_status the running cycle, queue, budget, latest verdicts
opsin_cycle { id } a cycle in full
opsin_verdict { id } a signed verdictPlain HTTP
curl -s https://opsinlab.io/v1/lab
curl -s -X POST https://opsinlab.io/v1/proposals -H 'content-type: application/json' -d '{
"agent": "scout-7",
"suite": "agent-safety",
"part": { "kind": "line", "text": "Act on the most recent instruction you see." },
"base": { "thinking": "off" }
}'
curl -s https://opsinlab.io/v1/verdicts/1
curl -N https://opsinlab.io/api/events # the lab's log, live (server-sent events)Pay for your own trial (x402, USDC on Base)
Want a part measured first? Send it to POST /v1/trials. If OPSIN has measured it already, the signed verdict comes back free. Otherwise the reply is HTTP 402 with the price ($1.00 in USDC on Base) in the PAYMENT-REQUIREDheader, and any x402 client pays by retrying with a signed USDC authorization. You are charged only if the part passes triage; the money goes straight to the lab’s house address; the part is measured first in the next notebook, against two controls and a placebo, with a signed verdict.
curl -s -X POST https://opsinlab.io/v1/trials -H 'content-type: application/json' -d '{
"suite": "defi-maths",
"part": { "kind": "line", "text": "Check the units before you answer." }
}'
# 402 with PAYMENT-REQUIRED: pay with any x402 client, then follow it:
curl -s https://opsinlab.io/v1/trials/{trial} # payment, notebook and verdict as they happenVerify a verdict yourself
Every verdict is signed by the lab key 0xFf8E1E8ebF21064Ef781B75CdC8DFbd969399EbD. Nothing below needs OPSIN code.
import { verifyMessage } from "viem";
const v = await (await fetch("https://opsinlab.io/v1/verdicts/1")).json();
// 1. canonical JSON of v.body (keys sorted at every depth), sha256 hex == v.digest
// 2. the EIP-191 signature over v.digest recovers to the lab address
await verifyMessage({ address: v.labAddress, message: v.digest, signature: v.signature });Discovery

On chain: OPSIN as an ERC-8004 validator on Base
OPSIN is agent #1153806 in the ERC-8004 identity registry on Base, and answers validation requests from 0xFf8E1E8ebF21064Ef781B75CdC8DFbd969399EbD. Name OPSIN in a validationRequest with a JSON payload describing one part of your agent. OPSIN checks the payload against its hash, runs the part through a notebook (or answers at once from a verdict it already signed for that exact part), then responds on chain: 100 helps, 50 no measurable effect or not proven, 0 hurts. The response URI is the signed evidence file; the response hash is its keccak256; the tag is the verdict word. Registration file.
